Enduroflex Acrylic Primer is a water based, high viscosity, single component, blue coloured primer intended for the adhesion promotion and stain blocking on bituminous membrane substrates. The blue primer cures to a darker blue colour when completely dry.
Enduroflex™ Acrylic Primer is designed to improve adhesion of the liquid applied waterproofing coating to bituminous membrane substrates.
||4 litre and 20 litre
|Coverage Rate (typical):
||0.2 kg/m2 (may depend on porosity of substrate)
|Application Temperature Rate:
0° to 40° C (ambient)
||1h to 1h45 (at 23°C and 50%RH)
2h30 to 3h30 (at 10°C and 50%RH)
Instructions For Use
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of frost, dust, debris, oil or grease or any material which would hinder adhesion.
Apply only when the substrate temperature 3 °C above the dew point. If the surface is below or at dew point temperature then moisture can form at the surface and affect coating adhesion and curing.
Stir opened primer to ensure uniform material consistency. Once ready, apply the blue primer (0.2kg/m²) onto the prepared substrate in a flowing motion and spread thinly using a brush or roller.
The Enduroflex liquid waterproofing system can be applied above the primed surface when the blue acrylic primer coating cures to form a darker blue film finish. Depending upon atmospheric conditions, curing time can vary from 1h (at 23 °C / 50 % RH) to 3h30 (at 10°C / 50%RH).
ETE / CE marking
Enduroflex Liquid Applied Waterproofing system has been evaluated against ETAG 005 as certified in European Technical Evaluation document (ETE 015/0089), which provide CE marking for the Enduroflex product range.
Read the MSDS sheet on Enduroflex Acrylic Primer carefully before application.
Keep containers in dry areas and away from freezing.
Shelf Life: Minimum 12 months between 5°C and 30°C.
In winter, if possible, keep the containers at 20°C overnight before usage for an optimum use.
