Ease of Application

Most liquid applied waterproofing systems are applied using the ‘wet-on-wet’ technique where a layer of fabric is applied between two layers of coating, allowing full membrane installation in a single process.

‘Wet-on-Wet’ Application Technique

Base Coat (Embedment coat): Apply the first layer of waterproof coating using a brush, foam roller or sprayer

Reinforcing fabric: Immediately embed the reinforcing fabric into the base layer using a dry brush or roller, avoiding formation of wrinkles or bubbles.

Top Coat: Immediately follow, without a drying period, with the saturation coat of waterproof coating. Spread homogeneously over the surface and allow to cure.

2 Reinforcing Fabric   5 Substrate
3 Base Coat

The video below demonstrates how simple Enduroflex is to install.

Depending on the demand, liquid applied waterproofing systems can be applied without reinforcement, with two coats applied in a two steps process: a drying period is then required between the application of the first and 2nd coat.
